Mold In The Bathroom And How To Get Rid Of It

Mold in the bathroom is a general problem which may occur in all homes no matter how well cared is because mold growth in the bathroom is due to some environmental conditions, how the walls were isolated, the materials used and their age. Mold in the bathroom appears more often in the ones without ventilation, but these are not completely spared of this problem. Cleanliness and sanitation affects the frequency of rounds of mildew in the bathroom.

Mold in the bathroom is not only unsightly, but can be very dangerous to health because mold is actually a fungus whose spores can get into the lungs and may favor the apparition of certain diseases.

Baking soda is one of the natural solutions that can remove mold in the bathroom. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda and one tablespoon of dishwashing detergent. Dilute the mixture with a liter of water and put the solution into spray bottles. Spray the areas affected by mold; leave it on for 6-12 hours, then remove with warm water and a cloth. To prevent mold growth dilute a tablespoon of baking soda in half a liter of water and spray the solution on areas where mildew appears. Do not wipe and repeat spraying every two days.

In the solution you can add a few drops of essential oil of citrus, rosemary or mint flavoring.

Vinegar is great for removing stains and cleaning areas where there is mold in the bathroom. Spray vinegar water (one part vinegar and two parts water) or just plain vinegar, if you can handle the odor and leave it on for an hour over mold in the bathroom. Vent well the bathroom so that mold spores do not stick to other areas and change towels in the bathroom as a safety measure.

Repeat it whenever needed or preventively, every two to three days.
