How To Effectively Clean The Carpet

Cleaning the carpet can be a burden more than frustrating. Accidents can be of any kind, but it is important to know how to clean any stains to ease your life.

I thought to offer you a number of tips less traditional but proven to be effective.

Professionals say that the secret to effectively remove stains is to moisten them well and do not rub them so you won’t ruin the carpet fibers.

Practical tips for stains on carpet

Try using shaving cream or shaving gel! It will wipe out any remaining stain from your carpet. Apply the product and let it act for half an hour, after which wet it well and remove excess with a towel. To be sure of the effectiveness of this method use in the end a spray solution of water and vinegar in equal parts.

Frozen chewing gum is a totally strange solution, but, trust me, it will definitively work. It only remains your choice whether or not you will use it. Put chewing gum on the stain, get some ice cubes and apply them across gum and then with a spoon remove the dirt created.

Dishwashing detergent solution seems simple to use. The trick is to use a spray container, to dilute a small amount of detergent in water and then apply on the stain. It may need several applications for larger or more difficult stains.

Maybe your next solution is familiar, but I’m still going to mention it as it is the most effective method to remove wax from the carpet. What to do: take a white towel and put it over the stain and then pass the iron over it. If the stain is small, you can try directly with the paper. So heated wax will adhere to the paper and it will get you rid of the stain.

If you have young children, surely you faced at least once stuck candy to the carpet. Use a knife to peel off a glued surface. And then, with a sponge, try to apply a solution of soapy water. It is important to remove any sugar that may remain on the carpet, because otherwise you might have to clean tenfold, sugar attracts dirt and dust more than anything.
